The NIRON PP-RCT piping system has passed one of the most rigorous approval processes for plastic piping in the United States. After a nearly two-year review process, NIRON PP-RCT has received unrestricted approval for commercial plumbing applications, including potable water – the hardest to achieve. The awarding of certification from Massachusetts is a significant milestone for the product. "With its extensive review and certification process, Massachusetts is looked at favorably by other states across the country,” said Chip Curtis, NIRON Product Manager and plastic piping product expert with the F.W. Webb Company - exclusive distributor in the Northeast. “When Massachusetts determines a piping system is satisfactory, many other states are willing to accept their findings.” NIRON PP-RCT is fast and easy to install for plumbing and HVAC systems, conveyance of drinking water and alimentary fluids and movement of compressed air, gas and chemicals. Suitable for many commercial and residential projects, NIRON PP-RCT is often preferred over copper and steel for its ability to withstand high temperatures, chemical resistance, longevity and overall durability thanks to its special molecular structure. Lightweight, it comes in sizes from ½" to 24". Joining methods include standard socket and butt fusion, as well as electrofusion, for which an extensive line of fittings is available. The NIRON PP-RCT piping system comes with a 30-year warranty and has a tested lifespan of more than 50 years.
